What makes us stand out
Positive support around trying food
Encouraging children to explore new tastes and textures at their own pace without pressure.
Part of a full nursery day
Freshly prepared, balanced meals integrated naturally alongside active play, group learning, and rest time.
Mealtime routines children enjoy
Calm, sociable dining experiences with predictable schedules that help young children feel secure and settled.
Nutrition at our private nursery
We take our food very seriously. We prepare all our meals freshly every day in our onsite kitchen. All our meals are varied and nutritionally balanced, and the ingredients are sourced locally. No additional salt or sugar is added in the cooking process, and we work in line with child nutritionists and the EYFS to prepare a nutritious and balanced menu that the children love to eat.

Our chef is also involved in cooking sessions with the children, which builds their knowledge of healthy eating; they get to learn about different ingredients and the ‘science’ behind creating delicious recipes.

Healthy food that supports busy nursery days
Healthy eating plays a big part in how children learn, play and settle through the day. We make mealtimes at Little Tigers Day Nursery feel calm, familiar and enjoyable, with nursery meals provided as part of your child's day in West London. Good food helps children keep their energy up for outdoor play, group activities and those moments when concentration really starts to click. It also gives them the chance to try different tastes and textures in a relaxed setting.
Our team keeps routines consistent, because that matters when young children are building confidence around food. Families choosing Little Tigers Day Nursery often want to know their child is being well cared for from breakfast through to home time, and healthy eating is part of that picture. Alongside straightforward nursery fees that help families plan ahead, we invest in rewarding nursery careers for our dedicated team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
What healthy eating looks like in practice
Our approach to food is about more than filling little tummies. We help children get used to regular meal and snack times, which can make the day feel settled and predictable. That rhythm is especially helpful for younger children who thrive when they know what comes next. We also create a positive atmosphere around eating, giving children time to explore food without pressure. That kind of steady routine can make nursery life feel much easier for both children and parents.
