Our garden
We believe that it is very important for children to spend lots of time outdoors and have tried to create an environment that will encourage them to do so in a safe and exciting space. Our garden is a stunning natural playground. We have worked with a specialist natural playground designer, Robert Fairley, who is the owner of www.schoolplaygrounddesigners.co.uk.
Our key criteria for this playground were that it should appear as a green oasis, without the standard modular steel and plastic playground equipment and structures, but should use natural materials with ample all-year-interest sensory planting. We have included many varied areas where children can be active, such as the climbing frame, sand pit, Wendy house and mud kitchen. And spaces where they can sit and relax in the shade, such as the pavilion and wooden tepees. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful space.

A garden that gives children room to grow
Fresh air and outdoor play matter more than most people realise, especially in the early years. We make full use of our nursery garden to give children space to move, explore, and build confidence through play at Little Tigers Day Nursery in London. Our large, well-equipped outdoor area supports active learning in a way that indoor rooms simply can't match.
Children can run, balance, investigate textures, and enjoy messy play without feeling boxed in. That kind of daily access to the outdoors helps with coordination, social skills, and focus. For families looking at a nursery garden in West London, we provide a safe place for your child to enjoy all of that as part of the day at Little Tigers Day Nursery.
More than just time outside
Our garden is planned as an extension of the nursery day, not a patch of grass tagged on at the end. Our team uses the space to encourage curiosity, independence, and shared play through activities that feel natural to young children. One child might be busy discovering how things grow, while another is building confidence by joining group games in the open air.
The secure setting gives you peace of mind while your child enjoys the freedom to explore. That balance of safety and stimulation is a big part of what families value when choosing us in West London. Get in touch today to arrange a visit and see our stunning natural garden for yourself.
